Figuring out what to make for dinner every night just got easier! I know everyone dreads the question, “What do you want to eat?” and a reply of the classic “I don’t care, what ever you want…” and the back and forth bickering until eventually one person gets what they want and the other is left to mosey on with the choices the other made.

Let’s skip that tiring argument and take a look at all the craving-satisfying meals I have planned out for you this week…

You’re welcome.

LOADED BREAKFAST CASSEROLE B**** (Ummmm Who doesn’t want to eat curly fries for breakfast??) RECIPE: 1 bag curly fries (yup curly fries) 12 eggs 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 bag shredded cheese 1 bunch chives 1 package bacon (apple wood ????????) 1 tbs garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER So basically this is a “I had left over fries I wanted to get rid of * type of deal and I feel like those are always the best meals . So first cook or re crisp fries . While that’s going on Cook bacon (I did in the oven ) until nice and crispy , no flabby fat. Then get your eggs and heavy cream whisked together and Cooking in a pan , garlic , salt, and pepper them . Cook them until a little wet but mostly done . Now to layer a casserole dish first lay fries , 1/2 eggs 1/2 bacon . Then the rest of the eggs and then top with cheese and finish with the last half of bacon . Cook in 350*F oven until cheese is gooey and finish with chives . NOW PUT THAT S*** IN YOUR MOUTH AND EAT IT Thanks as always @torimcgeehon #foodie #food #foodporn #foodblogger #instafood #igfood #foodlove #foodgasm #goodeats #eats #chef #cheflife #kitchen #thicc #bloggerlife #blog #nom #tagtheqc #quadcities #f4f #chive #curlyfries #fries #cheese #eggs #bacon #breakfast

Tuesday

JAMAICAN RED BEANS AND RICE W/ GRILLED JERK CHICKEN
So, with this recipe you will be sorta “cheating” but we are making dinner a little bit easier and faster. If you just don’t feel like pulling out all the stops tonight, this is the dinner for you. You will have to find Food Network’s jerk chicken sauce but it should be fairly easy. Most larger name grocery stores carry this in the sauce or dressing section! Regardless of not making a sauce from scratch, no one will ever know because this meal is AMAZING!

JAMACIAN RED BEANS AND RICE W/ GRILLED JERK CHICKEN BY: @foodnetwork RECIPE & REVIEW : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Obvi 1 jar @foodnetwork Jerk chicken sauce 1 chicken breast 2 cups cooked brown Rice 1 can red beans 1/4 red onion sliced thin 1 tbs minced garlic 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp red chili flakes Salt and pepper to taste HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER So I cooked my rice , had my beans and all the seasonings sweating in a pan , added the onion and cooked until the onion looked sexy , dumped in the rice and moved it around the pan until it looked incorporated. Grill chicken (salt and pepper to taste) and then I cut it up , coated it in the @foodnetwork Sauce (served it with a piece of nann bread ) NOW PUT THAT S*** IN YOUR MOUTH AND EAT IT (Ps: for the REVIEW I really liked this sauce , I don’t think it has the same pow as dry rubbed jerk chicken would have but it paired VERY WELL with my beans and rice so overall I was super happy ) Thanks as always @torimcgeehon #foodie #food #foodporn #foodblogger #instafood #igfood #foodlove #foodgasm #goodeats #eats #chef #cheflife #kitchen #thicc #bloggerlife #blog #nom #tagtheqc #rice #veggies #beans #chicken #quadcities #jamaica

Wednesday

EASY GREEK CHICKEN SALAD
Since Monday and Tuesday were carb-loaded, let’s chill and enjoy this DELICIOUS flavor packed salad. I hate when people say, “I don’t eat lettuce, I leave that for the rabbits.” That’s because you ARE NOT eating the right salads! Like YES lettuce by itself isn’t pleasant, and if the proportions of toppings and dressings aren’t right, then YES, again I can see where it could be unpleasant. This salad, however, will have you shutting your mouth and CHEWING because this isn’t your average boring salad.

EASY GREEK CHICKEN SALAD (Visit Greece for 1/1000 of the price) RECIPE : 1 bag ruby blend lettuce (or whatever you want ) 1 can black olive 1 red onion sliced thin 1 cucumber sliced 1 crate cherry toms 1 12oz bag feta cheese 1 to 2 chicken breast , oil salt and peppered (For dressing I just used oil and balsamic vinegar, salt& pepper) HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER Again you know how much I like to explain salads if you have been a @thicckitchenissablog Follower from the start buttttt basically cook your chicken then chop ALL THAT S*** up and toss it together , like I said I just drizzled oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper for a dressing NOW PUT THAT S*** IN YOUR MOUTH AND EAT IT Thanks as always @torimcgeehon #salad #greek #greeksalad #chicken #onion #tomatoes #cucumber #olives #fresh #dressing #greens #chef #cheflife #food #foodporn #dinner #lunch #blog #blogger #foodblog #foodblogger #kitchen #thicc #create

Thursday

TURKEY & NOODS CHILI
We have almost made it to the weekend! Let’s take tonight to relax and warm up with this HEARTY & slightly healthier chili. I’m not a huge red meat fan, so I swap that out with turkey and I promise you, you won’t be able to tell the difference — this chili is so jam-packed with flavor.
Let’s not forget to enjoy a bottle of wine this evening! Here are some great pairing options: If you prefer a white or light wine, try some with more powerful fruity notes or pink wines, if you’re a red drinker, try a nice full-bodied zinfandel
Not into wine?  Try amber ales, Guinness, or Sam Adams

TURKEY & NOODS (optional)CHILI ( if you are feeling extra fat the addition of noods is perfect but you can always leave them out for a classic chili) RECIPE: 2 tbs olive oil 1 large red onion 3 tbs minced garlic 1 lb ground turkey (Don’t think I’m crazy) 6 tbs chili powder 1 tbs cumin 3 tbs garlic powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp oregano 3 tbs brown sugar Salt and pepper to taste(heavy hand) 3 (15oz) can crushed seasoned tomatoes 1 baby ???????? can tomato paste 1 cup chicken stock 2 (15oz) cans kidney beans 1 box elbow noods (optional) (Sour cream and cheese for topping) HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER So first in a large pot I get the oil hot then add the onion and garlic , once the onions start to cook I add the ground turkey . Once turkey is cooked add in all the dry seasoning and stir around until everything is equally coated . (If your adding noods this is when I’d be boiling them in another pot ) then here comes the hard part dump EVERYTHING else into the pot and slowly bring it all to a boil , taste before serving , may need more salt/ pepper/ chili powder to your liking . Obviously now is when you would also add your noods if you chose to make them . I tip my chili with sour cream and sharp cheddar cheese , a crusty bread is always good for dipping NOW PUT THAT S*** IN YOUR MOUTH AND EAT IT Thanks as always @torimcgeehon #chili #chilipowder #turkey #hearty #soup #cheese #noods #noodles #pasta #food #foodporn #chef #cheflife #blog #blogger #foodblog #foodblogger #recipe #lightdinner #dinner #dinnerideas #quadcities

Okay so please please please (that’ a lot of pleases so LISTEN UP) do not be scared away by the name of this pizza. I was at first hesitant to even post this recipe on my blog and now even share it again. When I first made this recipe and tried it, I was in complete awe. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE

If you’re like us, some nights there is just too much going on to find time to cook! On those nights, convenience takes precedence. That doesn’t have to mean you are giving up quality, though! We asked Tori for her expert advice on those days that we’re just too tired or busy to prepare a meal.
This week, she recommends supporting THESE local establishments:

“Life is rough. I get that you won’t always have time, motivation, or brain power to keep running to the store, making dinner, or even thinking about a meal plan… thankfully, we have A TON of great places that do all that for you in the QC.”

Oh So Sweet By Tiphanie

Are you in a rush for lunch, need to bring a birthday goodie to a coworker, just have a sweet tooth in general? Then stop by Tiphanies and fo-fill all those needs. Her sandwiches are to die for, (love the Farmwich) (oh, I can’t forget about the Chicken salad) and don’t get me started on the cookies. If you have never been to Tiphanies, I encourage you to just stop by and check it out. The atmosphere alone will have you wanting more and the menu and options…CRAZY.

Wake Brewing

Had a rough day at work or need to kill some time in the afternoon? Stop by Wake Brewing and check out all the craft brew options and rock star atmosphere it has to offer. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to stop by during the week, on the weekend you can usually find them sharing their passion for brewing with the many pop-ups or tastings featured at local art museums or punk rock shows. I feel like I always see them hosting amazing shows as well, something you should really check out to explore local bands and art the Quad Cities has to offer & why not enjoy locally brewed beer while you’re at it!

Legends Corner Bar & Grille

Coffee, food, drinks… what more can you ask for!? I love that Legends has so many options, again from coffee, food, and drinks all in one location. I know what your thinking, a bar and grille being more of an adult atmosphere, but it’s not! They also have a wide variety of meals on their children’s menu! Apart from Legends having so many options & being family friendly, they are easy on the budget too and have so many great deals throughout the week. If you take a chance on Legends you gotta stop in and have a burger, you won’t regret it.
