Desserts with Tori

Wanna wow your friends and family at Thanksgiving this year?! This beautiful pumpkin roll will do just that! Not only is it visually appealing, but of course, it tastes amazing too. Don’t be scared about the rolling either.. if I can do it, you can too!


INGREDIENTS

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup pure pumpkin
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
2 sticks butter
2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
1 tbs cinnamon

HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER

In a big bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and pumpkin together. Then add all the rest of the dry ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth and evenly incorporated. Pour batter into a sprayed 1/4 sheet tray and bake at 350*F for 6 to 10 min or until center is done and bounces back to the touch, side will also pull away.
FILLING
Soften butter and add powdered sugar and cinnamon. Mix until smooth
ROLL
So once the cake is cooled on a non stick surface or parchment paper, flip it out and spread filling evenly. Roll into a log, and BOOM you are done!!


NOW PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND IT EAT IT – or save it for the holiday party…
