Seriously how many of you can believe Thanksgiving is next week? NOT ME! I can’t change that and neither can you so let’s be prepared for the holidays! This recipe is hassle-free and perfect for a work party, gift, holiday gathering, or sitting on the couch in your pj’s at 11 pm with a sugar craving. Let’s not be boring and buy a store bought pumpkin pie this year…
It’s about time we spice the holiday up with … PUMPKIN BARS!!!
INGREDIENTS
1 15 oz can pumpkin
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup veg oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
FROSTING
4 oz cream cheese
3 tbsp butter softened
1 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER
Mix all wet ingredients in a mixer until everything just comes to get her then slowly add in all dry ingredients. Try not to store to much but when batter is as smooth as possible pour into a spray 1/4 sheet pan and bake at 350*f until edges start to brown and center test clean .
NOW LET’S MAKE THE FROSTING
Cream butter and cream cheese as long and as smooth as possible then everything else
Once bars are cooled spread over top, sprinkle with cinnamon and BOOM you’re done .
NOW PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND IT EAT IT – or save it for the holiday party…
