Reese’s Blondies

I’ve gotten so many compliments and pure excitement from these simple blondie bars. If you aren’t familiar with the “blondie” term, it’s basically a brownie, but omitting that chocolate or cocoa base. It’s like a large cookie bar but light in color, giving it that “blondie” term. The cool thing about these bars is you can also use any other candy bar of your liking. Don’t like Reese’s? That’s okay try Snickers or Butterfinger… you get the point!
Now, go enjoy!!!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup crushed Reese’s
FROSTING
1 stick butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tbs vanilla
2 – 3 tbs milk
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup crushed Reese’s

HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER

For the blondies, cream the butter and sugar together. Then add vanilla and eggs. Scrape the bowl and let rotate a couple times. Next, dump in all the rest of the ingredients and let mix until the dough forms an even ball
In a sprayed 1/4 sheet pan, press out the dough. Bake at 350* F for about 30 to 40 min (until the center is no longer jiggly and edges are brown).
FROSTING
While the bar is baking, cream the butter and powdered sugar together. Scrape the bowl and add the vanilla, milk, and salt. Whip until fluffy
Once bar is cooled, frost and sprinkle with crushed Reese’s! (or whatever candy you like!)

NOW PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND IT EAT IT!
