Better-than-Loft-House Sugar Cookies

I know there is a huge debate if Loft House frosted sugar cookies are really as good as everyone hypes them up to be or if they are straight trash. Either way, these cookies don’t even come close in comparison. Have you seen them?! They are not only frosted with the most luscious pink butter cream and dusted with cute little sprinkles, but they are HUGE. Homemade can’t get any better. Regardless if you like Loft House or not, those will be in the trash and replaced with these babies!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup unsalted butter
1 2/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Frosting
1 stick butter
3 to 4 cups powdered sugar
1 the vanilla
1 to 3 tbs milk
Pinch salt
Pink dye
Sprinkles

HOW TO PUT THIS ISH TOGETHER

Cream the butter and sugar in mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs until incorporated. Next, add the vanilla and then add all your dry ingredients and mix just until fully combined. I used a 4oz scoop (jumbo cookies) and pressed down on them a bit. Bake at 350* for about 12 to 15 min. Every oven is not created equal so just watch them once it gets to 10-ish minutes!
FROSTING
While cookies are baking, cream butter, add powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk. Beat until it becomes light and fluffy. Add in your food coloring
With a 1 oz scoop, once cookies are cooled, plop that frosting on and SMEAR Add a sprinkle of your choice of … sprinkles!

NOW PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND IT EAT IT!
