Davenport Building added to National Register of Historic Places
The Davenport School District’s administration building is being converted into apartments and has also been added to the National Register of Historic Places! This building was added to the Register for its modernistic, New Formalism design. The apartment building is expected to open in the Fall!
The apartment complex is planned to consist of 38 studio/one-bedroom units, 8 being restricted to low-moderate income individuals while the rest will be market-rate apartments. There is a possibility of a retail store or restaurant opening on the ground floor!.
